At Tutor Birmingham, we take the suitability of our tutors and welfare of our students very seriously. We understand that every child has different needs and requires the right tutelage to succeed academically.  Our tutors are thoroughly vetted through several rounds of interviews, teaching observations and scrutinised group activities. Furthermore, all our tutors must pass the enhanced DBS check to be accepted to tutor with us.

We provide valuable resources and learning aids including individual text books, worksheets and computer software which are tailored specifically to each student’s needs.

We have Secondary Education Tutors who support the growing needs of students aged 11 to 16 years in Mathematics, English and Science subjects to help them maintain control of their school work and study for examinations.

Our tutoring sessions are done face to face in small groups of a maximum of 12 students for up to 2 hours per lesson. We believe tutoring in small groups makes learning easy and conducive and helps students excel in their studies. We also offer one-to-one tutoring sessions on demand for individual students.

Parents and Guardians choose us because we communicate the progress of their children to them which makes them confident of our tutoring approach. Also, with prior consent from parents or guardians, we communicate with our student’s teacher to check that there is no progression gap outside our learning environment.
